I am originally a native of Pittsburgh, PA. After completing my undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University, I attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. My pediatric residency program was completed at The Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and soon thereafter, I joined a private practice in the suburban Pittsburgh area, and continued to work there for the last 22 years. During that time, I watched newborns grow into young adults, helped navigate families through the intricacies of raising healthy children, and even began to see some second-generation patients. I was so honored to be part of their lives! After sending my youngest son to college this summer, my husband (Michael Pezzone, M.D., PhD-a Gastroenterologist with The Villages Health system) and I decided to relocate to The Villages, FL. My 4 sons are currently pursuing their undergraduate and graduate studies in PA, OH and FL, so some of my spare time is spent traveling to visit them. I also enjoy cooking and fitness, as well as traveling with and spending time with my family. I am extremely excited to continue practicing General Pediatrics in the Central Florida area and I look forward to meeting you and your children.
